Fixing Buffering

Buffering will always be an issue when it comes to Networks, Internet, Relaying Data to devices, and overall streaming so many factors could be contributing to issues.

1. Network

First and foremost, deduce that is not your current Internet Service Provider (ISP) or internal network at your home. Run a speedtest from your Android Device (Firestick, Nvidia Shield, Apple TV). In your Android Device, find its Browser (ie. on an Amazon Firestick, its called Silk) then head to www.speedtest.net and run a speed test from your device. For optimal live streaming you would prefer a MINIMUM score above 50mbs.

Is your Home Network running slow? It's always good practice to restart your devices, as they may overheat without proper ventilation or constant use. Your router can be unplugged from its AC Power supply for 30 seconds then reconnected for a fresh reboot. Your Cable Modem Box can also be unplugged for 30 seconds then plugged back in for a fresh reboot.

Still having issues? Check your ISP for any upgrades or downtime. Most have an live updated page that will show outages in your area. If contacting your Internet Service Provider (ISP), you may want to relay your speeds and what you have contracted them to provide.

2. Firewalls and VPNS

Does your Router have a built in Firewall? Typical logins to access your routers backend start with 192.168.1.1. If this is something you are not familiar with, please check on the back or underside of your router for details. Most modern routers have a Phone Application in which you can log into your router to check your settings.

Are you running a VPN? Please toy with turning it off and accessing the live stream content. It may also be beneficial to turn a VPN on then accessing our services. Some ISPs try to block you from accessing IPTV streams just based on Data Usage. We highly recommend SurfShark or Nord VPN as reliable providers.

3. Try IPTV Streaming on your Cell Phone Data

Hear us out! If you have an android based phone, you can download and install any of our Player Applications directly to your phone (www.iptvpro.ca/download), please use your same credentials our team has provided via email and connect.

This also helps with troubleshooting your network issues: Once installed on your phone, ensure you test the quality using your Phone's Data. That way you can determine if its your Home Network setup. Have an iPhone? Not to worry, there is a Smarters Lite application you can instal from the Apple App Store to run this test. If your streaming works while connected to Phone Data, you can deduce that your network is at fault.

4. Updating Your Player Settings

Our service can be used with any IPTV Players, just aslong as they provide the Xtream Codes (XC) connection option in which you insert our Portal URL and Credentials. Most players have Buffer Setting options to which you can allow more pre-loaded content before streaming.

For Smarters (V3 & V6):
Settings > Player Settings > Buffer Size Limit to '100' > Click Save.

For Tivimate:

Settings > Playback > Buffer size set to 'Large' or 'Very Large'.

For IM Player (V5):

Menu > Settings > Playback > 'Set Player Buffer Settings: Extra Big'.
